If you've jumped in from outside
Hawaii, here's the answer to the
question you're probably asking about now. Yer welcome.
This is a collection of stuff I've put up for whoever might find it useful.
- I love good text editors. So I decided to put up some pointers to a couple of my favorites. That's over on the Win9x text utilities page.
- A quick summary of an issue that keeps coming for Windows 9x users -- what do you do when you can't save your Dial Up Networking Password? See the DUN Passwords page.
- And, yes, I'm not above sharing a little startling information now and again.
In addition, you'll find one of my favorite HTML resources. It's a reference in the ever convenient WINHELP format that covers all the current tags and attributes. If you're like me and get just a leeeetle confused on the syntax sometimes, it can be invaluable.
Author Stephen LeHunte has released the long awaited Version 4, which covers the latest HTML developments. Written using Microsoft's new HTML Help format, it also currently requires IE4 to run. I haven't mirrored V4 here. If that sounds like it might be of interest, there's a link here
What is here is the older Version 3, which covers the basics (and doesn't require IE4 to run.) To see what it's all about, check the local HTMLib page

HTML Geek note: this page is a simple experiment in Style Sheets. If you're using a compatible browser like IE 3 or 4, you should be seeing some font changes. But since the code isn't in the body of the document, the page should cleanly devolve to a simpler form on other browsers. Hopefully. View source to see the code. More info is available at W3C.
