At our site in Althofen, Austria, we develop and produce intelligent manufacturing solutions and services for an interconnected world. We offer technical apprenticeships, as well as opportunities in IT and app development, manufacturing electronic modules and complete devices for top-class, international customers from health solutions, automotive, and industrial technology sectors.
You may apply for either the technical apprenticeship program or the IT and app development apprenticeship program. In the application process, we support you in deciding which job profile you want to pursue during your education with Flex.
In a Flex apprenticeship, we offer you the space to develop both professionally and personally. The joy of learning and team spirit are our priorities, and, in addition to professional training, we pay particular attention to personal development. That’s why we offer team-building events, excursions, leadership development, and much more.
Through our program, you can complete either a double apprenticeship, an apprenticeship with Matura (A-levels), or if you already have your Matura, you can join the apprenticeship with study degree program.
Robotics, automation, and Industry 4.0 require new technical knowledge and innovative solutions. This is exactly where process, electrical and metal technicians, technical draftsmen and draftswomen, and mechatronics engineers come into play.
Beyond overseeing the control, maintenance, and optimization of production processes and system programming, you will spearhead the development of novel technologies in the digital age. Applications will be accepted from November until March.
Learn hands-on skills such as connecting plugs, laying cables, wiring control cabinets, and drawing circuit diagrams.
Learn how to repair technical equipment using measuring devices. Implement your own ideas and develop your own electrical circuit.
Learn how manual processes can be automated with systems. Your training will cover the interaction of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components to build and program your own robot.
Design and manufacture workpieces, maintain machinery, and create fixtures for production.
Gain comprehensive insight into all aspects of the company and handle administrative management, specializing in managing inventory levels, and purchasing materials of the right quality, at the right cost, and at the right time.
I chose the apprenticeship to get know-how in the industry and to not only gain theoretical, but also practical experience. Automation, networking, and Industry 4.0 require new technical knowledge and innovative solutions. As an IT technician and application developer, you are at the heart of shaping the digital future. In addition to networking devices with one another, our apprentices are responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, developing their own apps, and creating pioneering solutions. Applications will be accepted from November until March.
Ensure that all work devices in the company — such as PCs, cell phones, and tablets — work perfectly and work together correctly. If colleagues need support on the computer, as an IT technician, you are there to help them.
Learn how to program your very own applications, and learn to program your own robot.
